Once
a pond has been treated for blanket weed it is a good idea to add
extra air to the water to compensate for the dying weed which consumes
valuable oxygen during its decaying process (which is why it is IMPORTANT
to remove decaying matter from the pond as soon as possible). Is a
good idea to make sure your fish are in good health and not suffering
any breathing difficulties before you treat your pond for blanketweed.
