Our range of foam pre-filters will fit most of the popular brands of submersible pumps. The 6" and 8" cubes have a large surface area making them ideal for straining water entering a pump. The pump fits into an off centre hole allowing pump and foam to sit level with the pond bottom. Both cubes have inserts to fit most pumps. The round Bertie foam (not shown) has been designed for use with sump type submersible pumps and just slips over the base of the pump.
Drilled foam blocks can be used on intake manifolds in filter units or for the home enthusiast who wants to build their own filters. They are available 4" square in lengths of 6", 8", 10" and 12". The larger three sizes fit onto our perforated insert. |
