Kockney Koi Yamitsu have a collection of ex Formula 1 cars and 2 seater sports racing cars. Some of which include cars driven by Michael Schumacher when he became world champion in both 1994 and 1995 whilst driving for Benetton.

Amongst these are some of the most photographed cars of recent times. They include the car that caught fire in the pit lane whilst being driven by Jos Verstappen and was nicknamed "the ignited colours of Benetton" and the Benetton much photographed up on two wheels whilst being driven by Michael Schumacher at Adelaide after coming together with Damon Hill. Another famous Benetton was driven in 1995 by Michael Schumacher and was responsible for seven of the nine races that he won in that year, effectively winning him his second world championship.

Year 2000

Two of the 1994 cars were raced in the 2000 season of the European BOSS championship . The drivers were Dave Shelton and Dave Hutchinson (placings are shown on the results page). These cars were originally driven by Michael Schumacher, JJ Leto, Jos Verstappen and Johnny Herbert. Ian Flux also tested one of the cars for Motoring News and it appeared as a centre page spread in the October 18th 2000 edition. In a private letter of thanks to Kockney Koi Yamitsu he commented "after 25 years of driving approximately 375 different racing cars, this car was exceptional. Everything was spot on and provided a memory that I will take great pleasure in for a many years."

Year 2001 - In 2001 Kockney Koi Yamitsu only had time to enter three races, the driver was Dave Shelton.

Dave had a 1st a 2nd and a DNF.

The April 2001 edition of Car & Car Conversions magazine also featured the same Benetton car in an eight page colour special.

Year 2002 - In 2002 Kockney Koi Yamitsu entered Earl Goddard.in the BOSS series driving one of our 1994 Benettons.
